The Arizona Diamondbacks Official Chip, Salsa, & Green Chile
"We are excited to spice up the food options at Chase Field by teaming up with 505 Southwestern," said Derrick Hall, D-backs President & CEO. "The D-backs are proud to work with local brands and bring an authentic Arizona
flair to the ballpark. We are continuously looking for premium brands
and products to partner with and 505 was the perfect fit to enhance our
unique dining experience."
"A lot of people don't realize how strong our ties are with the local Arizona community," said Rob Holland, CEO of Flagship Food Group, which owns 505 Southwestern®. "Phoenix is one of our biggest and best markets, and almost all of the seed that we use to grow our wonderful green chiles comes from the little town of Wilcox, Arizona. You can really say that 505 has 'roots' in Arizona. So, it was only natural to partner with the best team in town to grow our presence in this state."
505 Southwestern® and D-backs co-branded retail displays can be found exclusively at Fry's stores across the state of Arizona with offerings such as Green Chile Chunky Salsa and 505's new line of stone-ground corn tortilla chips, including its popular Hint of HatchTM flavor.
With more partnerships in the works, 505 has aggressively expanded its sports marketing campaign in 2018, having been named an Official Partner of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Angels Baseball, and the Pepsi Center in Denver, as well as Proud Partner of the Denver Broncos.
"Our green chile-based products go so well with so many items at stadiums, so we're really working to expand this part of our business," said Holland. "It's really true – 505 does make anything taste better."
